“SOUTH LONDON CHARITIES CRITICISE {Housing Company}for putting up spikes to deter the homeless”

twitter and face book went viral with pictures of the metal spikes put up in a alcove outside a block of privately owned flats.

Many were expressing the out rage and disgust.

ImageWe received these pictures of the metal spikes early this morning. Surely this is a sinister attack at the homeless with no regards to fighting homelessness. This is a clearly a safety hazard, why of all the solutions you could implement to solve this issue you choose metal spikes sticking out the concrete.

lol

I really ain’t knocking the concept understanding where and how it should be applied is a whole different story. What next a security camera with a high powered 00mw laser that burns your skin”i mean c’mon this is all absurd decision making,The idea may benefit the super rich high security markets guarding houses, vaults or banks but for private flats this is very a very aggressive method,

Boris Johnson has branded the spikes ugly, self defeating and stupid and instructed that they should be removed immediately Image

What have we learn from this? its not about condemning people to hell for their mistakes or there less fortunate circumstances.

How can we insure that this doesn’t happen again! Two words flower beds.Image
