Tenant Consumer Standards Consultation
The Regulator of Social Housing is currently conducting a consultation on a new set of standards applicable to all social landlords, including councils and housing associations. These standards are designed to protect tenants and enhance the quality of service they receive. Here’s what the proposed standards aim to achieve:
Strengthen safety requirements to ensure all social landlords provide secure housing.
Encourage landlords to be aware of their tenants’ housing conditions and individual needs, using this knowledge to offer safe and decent homes with high-quality services.
Ensure landlords promptly address tenant complaints and rectify issues.
Promote openness and accountability in landlord-tenant relationships, emphasizing fairness and respect.
This consultation will run for 12 weeks, concluding on Tuesday, 17 October. Your diverse range of views is essential to shaping these standards. Make your voice heard!
Have Your Say
We encourage each and every one of you to take part in these consultations and have a say in the future of Lambeth. Your insights, concerns, and suggestions are vital to our community’s growth and well-being.
Thank you for being an active and engaged member of Lambeth 500. Together, we can make a positive impact on our community.
Warm regards,
Bosses Made – Support Team
