1. What is needed to begin the project?
To begin full creative or publishing services, we require:
- A signed agreement (for either the Flexible Charity Plan or Advance Plan)
- A deposit or first payment based on the plan selected
- Your confirmation of which plan you’re choosing
Once those are in place, we begin the consultation, scheduling, and creative workflow.
2. What are the plan options and costs?
We offer two types of support plans:
✅ Flexible Charity Plan
- Total cost: £1,000
- Can be paid in installments (e.g., £250/month over 4 months)
- Designed for low-income clients or single parents with passion projects
- Book creation and publishing costs are recovered through book sales
- You receive 50% net revenue after costs are covered
🔒 Advance Plan
- Estimated cost: £2,000–£4,000 (depending on scope of services)
- Includes additional creative work, marketing, and referral-based opportunities
- Higher-tier service with quicker turnaround and more tailored support
3. Is there flexibility in the payment plan?
Yes. All payment plans are open to discussion and customisation based on your situation. We are committed to working with you, not against you.
4. Do I need to pay the full amount upfront?
No. Especially under the Flexible Charity Plan, there is no need to pay the full creation cost upfront. We only require a deposit or first installment to begin.
5. Are extra payments required?
No. Any additional payments beyond the required plan amount are optional and can go toward:
- Advanced book referrals or partnerships
- Extra creative services (branding, layouts, visuals)
- Marketing or book launch support
They are not required, but available if desired.
6. Who receives the 50% net revenue from book sales?
Once book creation and publishing costs are recovered (via sales), the remaining revenue is split:
- 50% to you, the author
- 50% to LGN Millinery & Partners, for creative and operational work already delivered
This applies under the Flexible Charity Plan model.
7. Can I opt out if I’m satisfied early or change my mind?
Yes. All plans are estimated and non-binding, meaning:
- You may opt out at any time
- You may pause or stop payment if you feel satisfied with the service provided (e.g., ghostwriting only)
- We aim to serve, not trap — and you retain full agency throughout
8. How long will the full project take to complete?
- 4 to 8 weeks for Flexible Plan projects
- 8 to 12 weeks for Advance Plan projects with more complexity
The exact timing depends on your project’s content, pace, and communication flow.
9. How should I communicate to avoid extra costs?
- Phone consultations are charged at £50.00 per hour
- To avoid extra costs, we strongly recommend using text or email for communication wherever possible
